Laser Surgery: Is It a True Answer?

September 12th, 2006

As technology develops there are always going to be technological answers. For some people who have trouble losing weight, what doctors do is staple the stomach in order to make it smaller. That’s a technological answer to what is essentially not a technological problem.

The same can be said for laser eye surgery. Our eyes are not just misshapen balls that can be cut and molded into a perfect shape. More importantly, our eyes are a reflection of our consciousness and our relationship to the world. The eyes are the windows to the soul.

Not having clear eyesight is a reflection of a need to gain greater inner clarity, to develop a sharper focus in one’s life, to see everything more clearly.

I’m here to offer people an alternative and an opportunity to do something for themselves. When a person takes that opportunity to do something for themselves, to really experience the positive power of their mind and their emotions to self-heal, and they do that with one area of themselves – their eyes – that opens up an entire realm of what’s possible, so that their vision of who they are, their vision of the capacity they have to grow expands dramatically, and that is the essence of the work that I do.

There’s more to seeing than meets the eye!

I have met a couple of people who have had the surgery and are absolutely thrilled with the results. I have also heard of very unpleasant results of botched surgery. The moment I first heard that such surgery was possible, I knew I would never do it. Any surgery has risks, and these are the EYES we’re talking about, delicate and extremely important organs. If I had a detached retina, I would reluctantly submit to surgery to avoid blindness. But to take such a risk just to not have to wear glasses? It’s not worth it.

    Mr. Martin Sussman
    Cambridge Institute For Better Vision

    Hello Mr. Sussman,
A number of months ago, I wrote a rather detailed letter to you expressing interest in sharing some of my ideas with you. I never got a direct response, but I did get some advertisements of Eye Max Plus from your company.

As it happens, aside from my blog, Eureka Ideas Unlimited at eurekaideasunlimited.blogspot.com
I have also made more than 1100 posts on Skin Cell forum, some of them quite detailed and comprehensive on health issues, including cataracts and the state of the medical arts concerning them.

I have also read your book, The Program For Better vision. It is no longer a surprise to me that I have not yet gained an audience with an ophthalmologist on the breaking edge of current surgical procedures. They do, after all, keep themselves quite well insulated from those not initiated in their closed fraternity.

I expect that one day soon, I shall be reviewing your book, both on my blog and on Skin Cell Forum. Unlike my relatively new blog, the forum has a pretty large readership and I am certainly one of the most serious regular contributors there.

I am known as Anthropositor. Once again, I extend you the invitation to contact me, and/or to invite any surgeons you may know to review my various posts, and to contact me for a dialogue which could be of benefit to a great many people.

You sir, are not a member of the closed medical society. You have even shown some indication that you were prepared to break new ground here and there. Was it just to make some money? Or do your motivations run deeper? Please advise.

This invitation is also extended to anyone in or out of medicine with an interest in innovation in the field of cataracts. This medical problem is growing exponentially, and should not be left exclusively in the hands of complacent “experts.”

    Hi Martn,
Thank you very much for your blog. I found it very useful and informative. You also have some great insights. My questions to you are, how much has your clinical eyesight improved since doing the exercises, and do you currently wear glasses?
    Thanks!

I was nearsighted since about 7 years old. My strongest prescription was about -5.5 to -6.0 (which translates approximately to 20/500 or so.)
My eyesight has improved very significantly – iit hovers around 20/60, and I experience frequent flashes of 20/20/ sight during each and every day.

It is so truth that the eyes are the windows of the soul. By improving your vision and eyes you will discover the whole world of new opportunities…
Stop listening to your optometrist that it’s improvable to improve your eyes by exercising them, thousands of people proved it wrong, follow those who believe in seeing clear without glasses…
Remember, the whole world of new opportunities is waiting for you!

I have always believed that I could improve my eyesight naturally but after doing exercises for periods of time, I realized that it had more to do with underlying health than anything. So i’ve been working on improving my overall health first and that makes a difference.

There’s no doubt that the health of your eyes and the health of your body are deeply inter-connected.
That’s why the company I founded more than 30 years ago, the Cambridge Institute for Better Vision, teaches a complete mind/body approach in everything that it offers.
The eye/body connection works the other way too: As you make your eyes sharper, cleearer and healthier, your body is benefiting as well.
